The torchbearer relay will cross the historic city center in the morning, between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m., starting from the Town Hall and passing through the main streets. The event represents a highly symbolic moment of participation, bringing the community closer to the Olympic spirit.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Municipality of Jesolo is sponsoring the initiative “Il 27 gennaio ogni giorno” (January 27 every day), an animated reading dedicated to remembrance and historical reflection. The event will be held on Saturday, January 24, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ca' Fornera Multipurpose Center and will feature a traveling reading of the illustrated book “Baracca n. 7” (Barrack No. 7), which tells the story of Ugo Ervas, who was deported to an Italian Military Internment Camp (IMI) after the Armistice. The initiative is open to all citizens and will end at 12:00 p.m.

Franco Fontana photography event

The JMuseo and the Municipality of Jesolo present the exhibition “Franco Fontana. Colors,” dedicated to Franco Fontana, a global pioneer of color photography, born in Modena in 1933. The solo exhibition, curated by Gabriele Accornero and the Studio Franco Fontana, will be open from November 29, 2025, to May 24, 2026, and features a selection of the artist’s most iconic works, many in large format, created between 1961 and 2017. The inauguration will take place on Friday, November 28, at 6:00 PM, with the participation of Mayor Christofer de Zotti and curators Gabriele Accornero and Cristina Fontana. The exhibition explores Fontana’s main themes: People, with “human landscapes” and the Fragments and Pools series; Urban Landscapes, with unique perspectives on buildings, cityscapes, and details that transform the city into an abstract visual composition; Asphalts, focusing on road surfaces where lines, signs, and textures become protagonists; and Landscapes, in which the photographer captures natural scenery with intense colors and luminous geometries, creating images that resemble paintings. The exhibition also includes an exclusive video interview with Fontana, subtitled in English, providing deeper insight into the artist and the man. Opening hours are: from November 29 to December 19, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; from December 20 to January 6, 2026, every day from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; from January 7 to May 24, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with last entry at 6:00 PM. The exhibition is aimed at a wide audience, from young people to the elderly, including families and students, as well as photography enthusiasts, thanks to high-quality Fine Art prints, museum-quality frames, and anti-reflective glass. Reading meeting for children

The Jesolo Public Library's children's reading group, “Gli esploratori di storie” (The Story Explorers), is a space for sharing and dialogue dedicated to young people, where they can explore books and stories together with other children. The next meeting will be held on January 27, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Jesolo Public Library, Piazzetta Jesolo 1. During the meeting, three books will be read and discussed: Everything on a Waffle by Polly Horvath, which tells the story of Primrose, a young girl who is orphaned and cared for by her uncle Jack and Miss Bowzer, with everything served on a waffle; The Parable of the Independent Bakery by Neil Packer, which tells the story of two elderly bakers forced to sell their small bakery to a large factory, but who discover that homemade bread always attracts people; Granpà by Christophe Léon, an ecological western in which 16-year-old John lives with his grandfather and together they fight against the oil company, exploring the bond between grandparents and grandchildren and the importance of standing up against injustice. The event is aimed at young readers aged 10 to 14 and admission is free.

Storie della Resistenza (Stories of the Resistance) by Pandemonium Teatro is a historical-narrative theatrical reading that traces the Italian Resistance from 1943 to 1945 through texts by well-known authors and testimonies, combining words, images, and music. The show is based on an anthology of literary passages by writers linked to the memory of the war and the Resistance, including Calvino, Levi, Fenoglio, and Guareschi, presented in a theatrical and narrative form. The performance is enriched by live music and image projections, alternating between moving, dramatic, and ironic moments to convey the different human nuances of that period. Starring Albino Bignamini, Giulia Manzini, Tiziano Manzini, and Flavio Panteghini. The event is aimed at adults and young people aged 13 and over.

The course ‘Being a parent today’ offers two meetings designed to provide practical tools, ideas and opportunities for discussion on parenting and children's emotions. The first session, on 29 January from 4pm to 6pm, addresses how to welcome children's emotions, understand “tantrums”, manage the use of digital devices and maintain consistency in education. The second, on 5 February at the same time, focuses on the development of children's autonomy and the importance of a network of adults who collaborate in their growth. During the meetings, children can participate in workshop activities with the educators. The programme is supported by the technical collaboration of the Yuman Centre. The meetings are aimed at parents in their last trimester of pregnancy and parents of children aged 0 to 3 years. Participation is free and the maximum number of participants is 10.

Sand Nativity Concert

The evening will feature the Veneto Classical Orchestra and the Academia Ars Canendi Choir, with soprano Annagiulia Bonizzato, trumpeter Filippo Dante and Sabrina Comin on harpsichord, organ and piano. The musical direction will be entrusted to Maestro Dino Doni, with presentation by Elisa Nadai and choir direction by Manuela Meneghello. Six new concerts have been added to Olly's 'Tutta Vita' tour. After the first five arena shows scheduled for autumn 2025, the artist will perform in six more Italian cities in spring 2026. Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon 2026

The 15th Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon & 10K, organized by Venicemarathon in collaboration with the City of Jesolo, will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The night race passes through pine forests, the seafront, and the beach, starting at sunset and finishing under the moonlight. There are 4,000 spots for the half marathon and 3,000 for the 10K, both competitive and limited. The program also includes the Jesolo Alì Family Run, a 3 km race for children and families, with registrations opening later. Registrations are already available on the official event website.
